Graceville Community Garden Working Bee

A no-dig garden and using palm fronds for small shade.

For this working bee we welcomed a few new people. We built a no-dig garden bed on top of an old one which was damaged during the flood. Then planted alyssum, egg plant and tomato seedlings. I used some palm fronds to provide some shade for the seedlings to protect them from the often burning sun.
