Originally from Maryland, I grew up in salty bay water and leafy forests. Later I moved to southern Oregon with her volcanoes, madrone and white oak and giant conifers, where I took my first PDC with the inimitable Tom Ward. I've spent time north of San Francisco participating in the Regenerative Design and Nature Awareness program at the Regenerative Design Institute in Bolinas, California, where I took a second PDC with Penny Livingston. I am currently working to establish a regenerative farm and homestead on family land in NW Ecuador.
