About Brian White

I am a stonemason, I have a national certificate in appied biology from Ireland. I made the pulser pump in the late 1980's It is a trompe and an airlift pump combined to both harvest energy and then use that energy to pump water (and do other stuff too). The device is very low pressure so all aspects of it are "tweaked" and work differently that the very big airlift pumps and tromps that are used in industry. My largest project at the moment is the low pressure pneumatic grid. I hope to prove that people can harvest and use small scale energy locally to do little jobs. But instead of always converting to electricity as the energy carrier, I want to show that it is cheaper and simpler to just use air. My version of the low pressure pneumatic grid uses extremely low air pressure, (less than 1 psi) and uses that air up to a hundred feet from its generation. But it can probably pump much further.
