About Claire Kellerman

Aloha Friends & Family:

Epic progress and expansion growing now, thriving, designing many projects on Maui with support of the Maui Permaculture Network (MPN).

I began as a member of the Santa Barbara Permaculture Guild, and met them when they came to the California Institute of Earth Art & Architecture (CalEarth -- calearth.org).

I was standing on top of a dome, demonstrating how we build them, and someone introduced me to Permaculture. That was it. I have been learning, sharing, teaching, and instigating inspiration and action in a regenerative direction ever since: in Israel, Egypt, Topanga, Santa Barbara, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Scotland, and on Maui.

I founded the Maui Permaculture network in 2006, because I wanted a community to grow and learn and celebrate life with. All is well. 80 people showed up when they read my story: Mana Thriving in Haiku through Permaculture Design, April 2006. We now offer a range of seasonal workshops & farm tours and farm brunches, lunches & teas, weekly gatherings at the Upcountry Farmer's Market (UFM), and we are co-creating an MPN directory for all local Permaculture-related friends and farmers for local bartering and abundance exchanges!

I am now designing many large projects, and a few backyards, and 4 to 10-acre Permaculture Designs on Maui.

So happy to be connecting so many dots in 2012, after 22 years of envisioning just such bliss.

Mahalo for your peace.

Aloha,
Claire
