About Pascal Depienne
PDC in 2005 and diploma in 2009 at the french permaculture festival.
Running projects on my own land and in my direct surroundings: association, consumer group, eco-center...
I believe permaculture is also connecting oneself with our surroundings, not only yearning for the absolute autonomous ecovillaging attitude.
I am slowly planting a temperate food forest as I multiply the necessary plants. I live with my wife in a small autonomous (water and energy wise) house I restored, it is a 200 years old pork-house. We are starting to fix an old tobacco dryer to use as a family house.
Doing things myself and slowly and not always depending on the mercantile lifestyle is one of my moto, getting out of the nuclear grid and aiming towards a substancial autonomy... This also what I try to teach in the workshops I organize.
I successfully built a teaching team with great colleagues on their way to the Diploma and am getting involved in the diploma process in France.
We are aiming at creating opportunities for a diversity of workshops styles to improve their accessibility: in terms of alternative organization (participative, self-managed or else).
I teach PDCs in France and Roumania and started to design professionnaly in 2009... although I try to remain at home as long as possible to keep experimenting.
My wife Chenli and I are now expecting a baby for july! ;)
We accept visitors in a trailer and welcome help during the warm season for exchanges of all kinds...
thanks for contacting us in advance!

PDCs in France, team at work
The three first PDCs given in France by a wonderful team composed of one supervisor (diplomee) and Permaculture students preparing their diploma.
