Since 1991, I have worked in both private residential and public educational gardens and farms. Most of this time, I have been designing spaces for increased habitat for birds, butterflies, and pollinators. Alternately, I have taught gardening, with a strong emphasis on Permaculture techniques.

Today, I am a single mom, with 2 children as well as the sole proprietor of an ecological landscaping design build company called Mariposa Gardening & Design. We have established ourselves in the world of Bay Area Garden Designers by winning awards at the SF Flower & Garden Show for the past 3 years. We gain credibility as a company with a strong emphasis on deep ecological principles guiding all our designs.

Moving forward, I am looking for new opportunities to share the work of building gardens with others in new ways. It is my desire to work within a collaborative business model to develop an urban food growing project with others who have a background in Permaculture.
